Margaret E. Cmelik
Funny people always have something to say. They are attention-starved children who will say anything just to get a laugh. Or is that just me?

People who write funny books don't have much to say for themselves!

I don't tend to read books billed as "funny". I like to find the humor hidden in books by Elizabeth Peters, David Eddings (I am so sad he is no longer with us), and the Lockridges. So many authors from the last 100 years have managed to find humor and convey it so brilliantly.

Any of David Sedaris's stuff is hilarious...but you probably already know that.

Anything by Terry Pratchett is usually good for a few chuckles. My favorite is "Nightwatch".

Sorry but I need to self promote because I think our book is very funny. Take a look at http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw_2_4?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=dysaffirmation&sprefix=dysa
I think that you will like it.
Christopher Moore writes some very funny stuff also.
Take care,
Paul from CoupleDumb.com
