I have just finished reading a wonderful book, everyone who loves music should read it. It's Vikram Seth's "An Equal Music". Have you ever had troubles putting into words how you feel while listening or playing your favorite music? Seth did it perfectly.

bc, I have some troubles with my credit card lately, so it will probably be somewhat later than Sept.1. It's the "uniquest" music I have heard in long time!

fav reading music: anything classical or jazz without words. I like everthing and totally believe that music speaks when words fail...it conveys feelings and emotions and nuances that no other language can even compare to.

Okay, I'll start off with my favorite reading music...Yiruma, David Gray, The Fray, Josh Groban. They keep it "simple"; yet it is emotionaly strong and meaningful...When I write, my playlist contains Simple Plan, Evanescence, Flyleaf, Linkin Park, Secondhand Serenade, The Script, Seether.
I'd like to hear your opinion. How does your favorite music affect your writing in particular? Not necessarily the lyrics, but much more the music itself. Is it the particular mood some music puts you into?
