I know this off the subject...first of all I would like to say hello to all. My question is to you know any great publisher companies for poets...

I'm an independent publisher and I highly recommend Rob Plath's A BELLYFUL OF ANARCHY (Epic Rites Press 2009) which is available through Small Press Distribution at www.spdbooks.org. If you're interested you can read a press release in my documents.

Billy Collins always gets me thinking, and Maxine Kumin, Wes McNair, and Donald Hall are the three New Hampshire poets whom I always enjoy.

I just bought "Letters to a Young Poet" for my son. I found some really interesting quotes from it, and the he'd enjoy it.

"wave to the end" by John Newell. You can find it on poetry.com, or within his new book - Everyagain: Idyllic Cadence for the New Century

I stumbled upon Garrison Keillor's collection called "Good Poems". It's a good start for a variety of poems. Definitely a favorite on my bookshelf.

I've been a Pablo Neruda fan for a while, and I would recommend him. I prefer his love poems over his more political poems though.
