Connection Point: A Different version of African American Folklore is a book recently pubilshed through Authorhouse, found @ www.leeferrysbestbook.com. This book is filled with fiction & historical facts that elevate the personalities of the Askias, the Sonnys & the Zuwa Kings of Songhai before this Great West African Niger River Kingdom fell around 1593, from a Northern invasion. People from this Kingdom began coming into the English colonies around 1619,giving birth to the "N" word. Then we develoment this information into this book. Thereby, removing the paradox of the word to a hypotheses. Thank you.

Dear bcomquest. Sorry so late responding but I've had little spare time recently; I',m an academic editor and have been meeting 'impossible' deadlines. Best book to start with? It would be a bit forward of me to suggest one of mine, but why not. I've written two with an African theme and one Iran. I suppose it depends on what interests you most. Do you write?
