Just completed the script for my keynote address to the Virginia Press Womens' spring meeting. Title is IN YOUR FACEBOOK! and we're going to talk about the challenges facing the publishing industry in a world that is changing, quite literally, at the speed of light. Going to do the YouTube thing with it. Best to all.

Hi Everyone. My wife Marilyn and I are the international bestselling authors of 21 books, including Midnight Express, Not Without My Daughter and Freefall. Our newest book is LUKE RULES, the adventures of an unconventional PI. WARNING: Luke has a bit of an attitude problem. But then again, so do I.

Hi Everyone. Two of my favorite authors (besides myself, that is) is Steve Berry and Michael Connelly. I hope my novel, 'A Murder In Zurich', reaches the same level as theirs have. Take a look at Barnes and Noble or Amazon.com

Hey everyone! My favourite is Jack Reacher by Lee Child. I bought all of his books - except the last one, I'm waiting for the paper cover to come out.

Hi, everyone! Crime stories make my day. I love Patricia Cornwell, GM Ford, Ann Rule and all readers of crime books. Great work, Maxine.

I think the top three detectives are Miss Marple, Hercule Poirot, and Nero Wolf. What's your top 3?

Hi Maxine, Saw the post on your blog. I do so need another crime fiction group.
Laylynn, have you read any C. J. Sansom? Set in the time of Henry VIII, the main character is a hunchback lawyer. Fabulous blooks.

I especially like discussing historical mysteries...those of Stephen Saylor (Gordianus the Finder--Ancient Rome), Lindsey Davis (Falco, the Informer--Ancient Rome), Elizabeth Peters (Amelia Emerson Peabody-Victorian Egypt), Walter Mosely (Easy Rawlins-middle 20th century). Let's gab. :)
