William T. Vetterling, Ph.D. is a Research Fellow at ZINK Imaging, and manager of the ZINK Image Science Laboratory. Prior to joining ZINK Imaging, Dr. Vetterling was with Polaroid Corporation for 21 years, and was a member of the physics faculty of Harvard University for 9 years. In addition to his work in experimental physics and computer modeling, Dr. Vetterling is co-author of the "Numerical Recipes" series of books and software, and is vice-president of Numerical Recipes Software. He has published over 60 scientific articles and books, and has 18 issued patents. Dr. Vetterling received his BA in physics from Amherst College, and PhD in solid-state physics from Harvard University.
