Wendell Whitney Thorne earned a B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of Law. A former attorney, Mr. Thorne practiced in the areas of Criminal Defense and Employment Discrimination, but experienced an epiphany or a catharsis (he isn't sure which) and gave up the practice of law in order to dedicate more time and energy to his growing family. He now owns and operates an Old-Fashioned Gentleman's Barbershop and lives with his wife and four children in Bradenton, Florida. In his spare time, Mr. Thorne enjoys Golf, Music and Flying. He has no spare time.
