Author Biography

Wayne Stewart was raised in Donora, Pennsylvania, the town which produced Stan Musial, Ken Griffey, Sr. (a teammate of Stewart's on the Donora High baseball team), and Griffey, Jr.

Stewart's latest books are out now (as of April 2010). They are: a biography of Stan Musial (Triumph), his 25th book, and You're the Umpire (Skyhorse). For an autographed copy of some of Stewart's select titles, email him at wstew@roadrunner.com

Stewart has appeared on many radio and television shows including a segment on Bob Feller which aired on ESPN Classic. He now lives in the Cleveland area.

Influences/Inspirations:
My parents taught me to love words and to love to read.

Fiction: Harper Lee among others
Baseball writers include too many to mention
Interests:
Sports, travel, movies, tv, reading and, of course, writing.
