Ursula. B. Borck was born and raised in Germany and worked there for several years, but being a Gypsy at heart, her desire to see more of the world took over. She immigrated to Canada, living in Ottawa, Ontario, and Vancouver, British Columbia.
However, wishing to really live in San Francisco, California - because of a book she read when she was a teenager - she and her husband followed friends to the City by the Bay, living there for many years, traveling regularly.
Eventually the road led to Arizona with a whole new environment, many new experiences and more travel, opening her eyes and changing her thinking considerably. She lives in the Phoenix area, with a son,daughter-in-law and two granddaughters in California.
She is still traveling regularly to Ecuador, Europe and, of course, California.

Influences/Inspirations:
To exchange information with different parts of the world so people become familiar with other cultures and countries which was influenced by my travel world-wide,giving me considerable insights for comparisons as well as my desire for more understanding and peace in the world.

Many from different countries. No particular one anymore since my exposure to various parts of the world and their cultures.
Current Projects:
Thinking about another book once the present one THROUGH THE EYES OF A GRINGA - EIGHT WEEKS IN PERU AND ECUADOR has been marketed more.
Interests:
Travel, reading, geography, history and politics as well as thinking outside of the box.
Archaeology and Anthropology.
Family:
Son,daughter-in-law and two granddaughters in California.

College in the San Francisco Bay Area, plus classes at ASU in Tempe, AZ.
