Author Biography
The photo is taken at Barnes & Noble, where I am standing in front of my book.
It is about the American freedom and spirit. How each person in this country can be or become himself or herself, no mater what background there is. Nobody gets intimidfated by a higher ranking person or authority. I was born, raised and educated in Germany, worked there, got married and had my 2 childfren there. When the childtren were 2 and 4 years old, my husband got a three-year job in the USA. This opened my eyes and I am writing from being prejudiced, only knowing through the press, books and magazin about the USA and then finding out, what this country has to offer and how this country changed myself and my thinking and how I fell in love with the USA. It is a great book to read.

This is so cool. What part of Germany did you live in? Anywhere near Frankfurt?
