Being native to Louisiana, I had the privilege of growing up in a large family filled with engaging storytellers. "Breaking Into Soul" is populated by such characters, and their perspectives, and voices drive the narrative.

Literature, writers, music, art, and nature are some of the influences I look to for inspiration. Running also brings imagery and inspiration, conducive for creativity. These are but a few of the gifts I enjoy that bring a sense of heightened imagination to my daily life experiences.
