Staci studied journalism at Moorpark College but became disenchanted with the direction the field was heading and chose, instead, to enter the private sector. She turned toward creative writing and is currently finishing her first novel.
Craig earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Studio from the University of California Santa Barbara where he also studied Art Education, volunteering to instruct local children in the foundations of medium and technique at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art.
Although Craig and Staci both grew up in Southern California and both spent time on the east coast, their paths never crossed until both were letter carriers for the United States Postal Service in Camarillo, CA. Their mutual love of reading, of writing and of each other soon led to marriage and, ultimately, their first book together, The Silly Goose Trap.
