Sight See USA and Europe : A Book of Photo Games and Trivia
Did YOU know....
...there's a typo on the Statue of Liberty??
...your hearing is better when you're hungry??
...the most expensive parking ticket ever written was over $9 million?
Sight See | USA + EUROPE is a punchy, colorful, graphic book of “spot the difference” photo games using photography from around the USA and Europe. Each game features fascinating and humorous trivia. For example: information about the first cow to fly in an airplane; how and why the London Bridge moved to Arizona; there is a typo on the Statue of Liberty. Games range in difficulty. A colorful magnifying glass signifies the number of differences to spot. Differences span from 1 to 12 changes in a side-by-side format, or are presented in a series where the player has to find the one photo different from the others. A title is given to each game linked to the photo’s concept. A small map where the photo was taken is also included in the layout. Answers are listed in the back.
Sight See | USA + EUROPE is an excellent tool for visual perception, cognitive development, vocabulary enhancement and aesthetic appreciation. These games combined with trivia stimulate and appeal to both left-brain and right-brain dominant thinkers.
