Hi Shari,
My book Using the Brain to Spell is one that all home schooling parents would want to read since it reveals that learning to spell is interconnected with all communication skills. Check out my web site brain to spell.com to find out more. I am excited about having my book published, one that I started working on in graduate school way back in 1988 and then as a teacher-researcher in my 7th grade classes for the next 11 years. It is filled with many activities and methods that reveal HOW children should be taught, the essence of which is to make learning fun! Sally
