I am a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. My poems and stories have appeared in various magazines for young people, including Highlights and Zootles. My first picture book, One Wolf Howls, was recently published by Sylvan Dell Publishing. In addition, I am the author of six nonfiction adult titles published by The Globe Pequot Press. The latest -- It Happened in Chicago -- is scheduled for publication in August 2009.
