Scarlett has been teaching since 1986 for quilt guilds, shops and conferences throughout the United States and has taught twice in Japan, in 2002 and 2006. Scarlett taught for the 2003 and 2007 Applique Society national quilt conferences, where she also was one of the quilt judges for their national quilt competition. She has taught at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival in Williamsburg, Virginia, the Quilter's Heritage Celebration in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and at the American Quilters' Society show in Paducah, Kentucky. She also teaches online at QuiltCampus.net.
