Going Kindle
Wed, Jan 6, 2010
I don't have an eReader yet. Like most folks, I'm saving up the cash. Like my father, I'm mired in research mode. I'm pretty sure I inherited the trait from him. It's not a bad thing to be cautious before slapping down $200 to $300 of a starving author's hard-earned money, but it will have me staring at computer screens, comparing reviews, contemplating features, and wondering just how fast the Nook needs to "turn a page" before it's considered a great machine.
While I save up and weigh my options, my publisher forges ahead with the technology of the future. He has released both of my full-length novels for the Kindle generation, and I'm pleased with this. Anyone seeking a powerful, epic fantasy without the typical journey-quest can check out Choices Meant for Gods and Choices Meant for Kings over at Amazon in either hardcover or, now, the fancy Kindle format.
I welcome comments and questions about the series!
