Author Biography

In two weeks RH lowered his golf score from the mid 90's to the high 70's. He was 71 years old at the time. He'd stopped trying to perform the usual "mechanics" and instead began self-exploring the timing, balance, and power of his swing. This "different golf" came from the insight that mechanics don't CAUSE a good swing, they RESULT from one. Too often we get cause and effect backwards. Sensing his own timing and balance led to a much more natural swing. One that no longer was mechanical. The book describes how average golfers can get similar results by exploring their own physical and mental games.

Hi. I have read your book several times and find it very interesting. I am 71, a retired college professor of physics, and an avid golfer. Have you read the book tour tempo? If you have I am wondering how this fits in with your philosophy.
