Peter Marsden Wallace is the host and executive producer of “Day1,” an acclaimed ecumenical radio ministry (formerly called “The Protestant Hour”) currently broadcast on 200 stations nationwide, in rotation on the American Forces Radio Network, and available worldwide as podcasts via the Internet. The Day1.org website is becoming the site for mainline Christian content—text, audio, video, and community—and Wallace maintains an active presence there. Wallace is also vice-president/programming of the parent organization, the Alliance for Christian Media, headquartered in Atlanta.

A graduate of Marshall University (A.B. in journalism/advertising) and Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M. with honors), Wallace served as editorial manager and then Research & Development editorial director for Walk Thru the Bible Ministries (1984-1990), where he wrote, edited, and helped develop devotional magazines and study Bibles (including The Daily Walk, Family Walk, Closer Walk, and The Daily Walk Bible), teaching curriculums, video series materials, and other resources. He served as senior copywriter and broadcast producer for Larry Smith & Associates Advertising & Design in Atlanta from 1990 until assuming his present role in early 2001.

Wallace is the author of several books, including Connected: You and God in the Psalms (Morehouse Publishing/Church Publishing Inc. 2009), Living: Knowing Jesus as the Lover of Your Soul (Seabury Books/Church Publishing Inc., 2007), Out of the Quiet: Responding to God’s Whispered Invitations (NavPress, 2004), Psalms for Today (World Bible Publishers), TruthQuest Devotional Journal (Broadman & Holman), and the devotional trilogy What Jesus Is Saying to You Today, What the Psalmist Is Saying to You Today, and What God Is Saying to You Today (Thomas Nelson). He has contributed to many books, study Bibles, devotional guides, magazines, teaching curriculums, and other resources. Wallace is a member of an Episcopal Church in Atlanta, where he resides.
