Ms. Lackey became perturbed at the injustices and ill treatment she and those of her ilk endured because they elected not to adhere to the Trinity doctrine. She believes many Christians subscribe to the dogma because they are exptected to! Not to do so would place them outside the unity of conformity - the fellowship.

She began her search as an academic pursuit and questioned the origin and purpose for its inception. The word “Trinity" isn't in the Scriptures, nor scripturally-grounded. Through much networking and investigation, Ms. Lackey found a treasure trove of knowledge via other unitarian authors, and it is through this collaboration she wrote TOT hoping it would not only educate, but inspire truth-seekers to return to the "grass roots" of the Holy Writ, and give scripturally-based and sensible answers to the centuries-old question.... Who is Jesus?
