“The Greenhouse Project provides a much needed Biblical view of ministry from some of today's leading voices for student ministry. This healthy approach will better equip you to enlist, equip and engage this generation for the cause of Christ.” Brent Crowe Executive Director Student Leadership University
I read many books on youth ministry that are excellent and some I will actually recommend. The Greenhouse Project will be in the top five that I encourage those who love teenagers to read. It is one of the few youth ministry books that actually gives thought to helping youth ministers develop a plan for equipping students in dealing with current pressures and those that will come to them in the future. Calhoun’s quote, “You cannot lose what you never truly had” lends credence to his recommendation that we “tell the truth about the cost of discipleship.” “Enlist, equip, engage” will be a practical aid to those who love students, parents, and youth workers for years to come. Dr. Johnny Derouen Professor of Student Ministry Southwestern Theological Seminary
“The Greenhouse Project digs beyond the surface of student ministry’s challenges to offer real help for today’s leaders. Calhoun and his team of front-line student leaders share what they’re seeing and how they’re working to impact the next generation with honesty and integrity. This is an essential piece of writing for anyone working with students.” Dillon Burroughs, bestselling co-author of What Can Be Found in Lost?
