Author Biography

My husband died at the age of fifty-three and so I became a widow at the age of fifty. I was married for twenty- seven years and when I started talking to widows for advice I realized that their invigorating stories would also help others to heal.

I wrote a book called "The Sisterhood of Widows" and it's a powerful book of healing from sixteen widows. Their husbands died from cancer, heart attacks, accidents and even suicide.

I'm also a new grandmother and that is fun. It brings some freshness to my life. I'm enjoying working on promoting the book and meeting alot of great new people. My world has certainly gotten bigger!
Influences/Inspirations:
My mother was a great influences as she brought up five daughters and three other girls on her own. She was a strong women who understood that she was responsible for her own life and she did make the most of it.

Current Projects:
Promoting the book "The Sisterhood of Widows" as it's published date is January 1, 2011.
Interests:
Helping other widows to understand the changes they are faced with. Travelling and meeting new people in my life.
Family:
I have two children and one grandchild.

I also have four sister, lots of extended family.
