Author Biography

Mark A. Rayner is the author of two novels, The Amadeus Net (ENC, 2005) and Marvellous Hairy (Crossing Chaos, September 2009), numerous short stories, and this short biography. Apart from his suspicious need for full disclosure, he is somewhat uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person — it smacks of insanity, of which he has been accused by a series of bewildered friends, co-workers, and students at the University of Western Ontario (where he teaches in the Faculty of Information and Media Studies). He has a phobia of long sentences.

Mark has an education, a residence, and several pets. None of these facts are disputable. Mark has superhuman strength, can move objects with his mind, and an unhealthy obsession with monkeys.
