Author Biography

Linda grew up in small towns around Springfield, Illinois and obtained her degree in math and history. She worked for a bank, a railroad and for the state's transportation department. When a business trip brought her to Denver, she knew this was the place for her. There she has worked as a financial planner, a mutual fund analyst and in the tax department of a gold mining firm. "Having learned from so many others, how not to run a business, my husband and I started our own print shop." Linda has traced her roots back ten generations in the U.S. Her books include the bestseller A Busy Cook's Guide to Spices and her newest release A Busy Cook's Guide to Flavor-Packed Cookies & Bars. She has also written articles for the Colorado Historical Society and does music reviews for the Colorado Blues Society. When not reading or writing you may find her running errands on her scooter.
