Linda Frazer Fleming was born in Weisbaden, West Germany, when her parents were stationed there with the U.S. Armed Forces. She grew up in Vienna, Virginia, and most recently lived in Santa Cruz, California.
Most recently, she worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist, freelance writer and editor, Linda ran a small publishing company. She also taught life enhancement classes, focusing on the principle that people can find happiness only by looking within themselves to release the pain in their bodies, their careers, and their personal relationships.
Before starting her writing and publishing careers, Linda worked as a speech pathologist at Gallaudet University's Model Secondary School for the Deaf, in the Prince William County (VA) Public Schools, and at the Maryland School for the Deaf. She also supervised students in Gallaudet's Graduate Program.
During her years at Gallaudet, Linda found the courage and support to begin her own healing process and to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a professional writer.
After a series of illnesses, Linda passed away in August, 2009.
