Laurence Carter has spent most of his early working years in the airline industry. He changed careers and commenced teaching, and has been doing so for the past eight years. He has taught a wide variety of subjects. Some of the areas in which he has lectured and researched include Tourism Development, Marketing, Business Management, Event Planning and Leadership Development. At present he continues to work in the areas of Leadership Development and Sucession planning as part of his role as a Director of Training.

He has used his work experiences and management training obtained from the University of the West Indies, to develop his teaching and publishing career. Laurence has developed a passion for writing. He is determined to continue to transform some of the experiences he has gained, into published works to act as a source of inspiration for others.
