Author Biography

In the U.S. Peace Corps, Kevin Daley taught refrigeration at the Western Samoa Technical Institute. He studied law at Howard University in Washington, D.C. and, with his classmates, protested the Rodney King verdict across from the White House and followed the O.J. Simpson double-murder trial. Kevin also worked for federal government agencies and was in a presidential inaugural parade. His law firm is in Cambridge, MA, and he is an adjunct professor at Bunker Hill Community College of Boston. Kevin studied fiction writing at Cambridge Center for Adult Education, Grubb Street in Boston, a summer writing program at Charles University in Prague, and an Algonkian workshop at a California lighthouse. Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee Hidy Ochiai awarded Kevin a black belt in karate.
Influences/Inspirations:
The little slice in each of us exercised even in small ways. John F. Kennedy. Jesus, as a man (as a son of God/part thereof, how can he be a hero?). Obama is on the waiting list and expect he'll come through. Ghandi. Favorite hero--meatball with provalone, toasted in the oven.

The Dandy Vigilante, a thriller set in Boston.

Fiction, karate, family, roller blading, parachuting, sailing, travel, helping people.
Family:
Kevin lives in Reading, MA, with his wife, and together they have five wonderful children.
