Where as Kathy Kirk's "Quick Start Guide" is more of an informational and instructional manual speaking directly to the reader, "Well Done" is an inspirational narrative of personal discoveries through Applied Spirituality. Complete with insightful journal entries from the Author's own experience, this book illustrates the importance of appreciating the beauties in life and working through the difficulties along the way. What a great way to get inspired to do something meaningful in our own lives! Although truly useful in the business world, Kathy Kirk's story and insightful musings can be applicable to anyone and everyone in any walk of life.

When I first picked up this book I wasn't sure why Ken Blanchard would write a forward for a book on Applied Spirituality. I was intrigued. It didn't take me but a few pages to know that this is a book on LEADERSHIP, PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS, AND GOAL SETTING! The spirituality that flows through this book is - humane treatment of ourselves, our employees and our customers. Here is one of the best take aways, "...people usually meet and exceed my original expectations if I've selected people well suited to the task, have clearly expressed my performance expectations and then trust them to perform. They rise to the challenge and the opportunity. The results are thriving people and enthusiastic employees, increased productivity, and decreased turnover." How many of struggle with these issues every single day of our corporate lives?
READ IT -- there are many such moments throughout the book. Thank you Ms. Kirk for giving us a leadership book that can be read!

This book is a story about learning how to deal with life in a responsible manner and how to help engage others along the way. A really fun story that I found interesting as I eagerly turned each page as the mystery of life unfolded for a young woman who was willing to go the extra mile to make a success of her life. It is filled with innovative ideas and inspirational insights and motivates the reader to step out, take action then reflect on what the lesson is in each endeavor. I found myself inspired to keep trying and moving forward even when it looks hopeless. The author teaches us how to find the lessons in life within our everyday circumstances. I think this is a must read for anyone in the workforce or any entrepreneur that has a serious commitment to success and self development. I have recommended it to many of my friends and co-workers.
