Julie Blattberg is a fine art photographer, writer, and editor. Her photography has been exhibited from Soho to Harlem to Los Angeles. Her work has also been featured in independent films, such as Punk's Not Dead and NY77: The Coolest Year in Hell, and has published in New York Times bestselling books, including Here Is New York (Scalo), 98º: The Official Book (Pocket Books), and Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiography (HarperCollins).

She studied at university with Phyllis Galembo, and in recent years with luminaries such as Joyce Tenneson and Bruce Davidson.

Backstage with Beth and Trina: A Scratch-and-Sniff Adventure (Abrams Image) is her first book.
