Dr. Judith Boice, award-winning author, international teacher, naturopathic physician and acupuncturist, has a special passion for working with wellness and women’s health. She has traveled around the U.S. conducting over 900 trainings and public lectures on women’s health, menopause, and osteoporosis.
In addition to her work with women’s health, Dr. Boice has created The High Level Wellness Program© for patients who want to improve their health but are unsure about where or how to begin.
Dr. Boice is the author of several magazine articles and nine books, including Menopause with Science and Soul: A guidebook for navigating the journey. Dr. Boice is listed in Who’s Who in America. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Oberlin College, she has lived and traveled around the world, fostering an understanding and respect for many cultures and traditions.

Influences/Inspirations:
I was weaned on nature photography, classical music,and profound encounters with/in wilderness. I read the required classics in high school and fell deeply in love with the symbolism and "music" of many fine writers.
Favorite Writers and Artists:
Barbara Kingsolver, Jane Austin, John Steinbeck, Emily Dickinson; Mary Cassatt, Monet and all of the Impressionists; Van Gaugh (I make a pilgrimage to see "Starry Night" every time I visit NYC). Joshua Bell, Itzhak Perlman. Galen Rowell, Sonja Bullaty, Mary Ellen Schultz.

Interests:
Dr. Boice's creative passions include photography, music, and gardening. Her photographs have appeared in several magazines and newspapers, Trees for Life calendars, and Sierra Club Books publications.
Dr. Boice teaches Awakening Light Gong, Soaring Crane Qigong, and Essence Qigong.
Family:
11 year old twin boys, and my partner Jeff. We have a flock of laying hens; itinerant owls, flickers, sparrows and Canada geese.
