John Puzzo is a graduate of the University of Connecticut. He attended Yale University, the Sorbonne (Paris), the University of the Americas (Mexico), Boston University, the Art Institute of Boston (Photography), and holds certificates from the University of Connecticut (Latin American Studies) and from the French Ministry of Education (Language & Cultural Studies). John has Connecticut and Florida insurance licenses in Life, Accident & Health, Variable products, and Annuities. With more than 14 years retail and wholesale experience in private, corporate and government markets, John is a general securities principal, registered representative, and investment advisor representative with active registrations in Connecticut and Florida. A U.S. Army volunteer (1968-1971), John served in Viet Nam with the US Army Rangers in 1970. As an author, John has published two new books in 2009, K/75th Rangers, ‘The Highlanders’ In the Vietnam War,’ and, ‘Vietnam and Hollywood.’ He has also written for RegisteredRep Magazine and has won awards for his non-fiction stories. Taking a leave from business affairs, John served three tours in Iraq (2004-2005) as a contractor for the Department of Defense. He returned to be with his family and has resumed his writing and editing career while maintaining a financial planning practice with MW Financial Group in Farmington, Connecticut.
