Jard and Roberta DeVille pastored three churches. He taught psychology and chaired the psychology departments at Olivet and Westminster Colleges, and was director of the Child Conservation Center in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He was also manager of Engineering Research, Methods and Training for the 8,000 worker UniRoyal Corporation manufacturing facility at Joliet, Illinois, V.P. of manufacturing for Deardean Tool Corporation and Leadership Psychology Professor in the Executive Development Program for the University of Arizona at Tucson.
