Author Biography

Jackie Collins has written more than a dozen novels since 1968 which have sold 200 million copies in 40 countries. Her novels are regulars on the New York Times Bestsellers List. Set in such glamour capitals as New York, Beverly Hills, the Hamptons and London, they detail the lives, loves, and obsessions of her fictionalized characters including the famous and near-famous, power-brokers and show business insiders. Several of her novels and their sequels, including Hollywood Wives and Lady Boss, have become successful television miniseries, produced and written by Collins. Big screen successes have been The Stud, The World Is Full of Married Men, and The Bitch. Collins, sister of actress-writer Joan Collins, was born in England.
