Imani True came into being in 2007 when a lifelong wordsmith decided to try her hand at writing Erotica. Prior to that time, poetry was the medium through which she found creative release.

Her first book, entitled Strawberries, Stilettos, and Steam with Erotica writer Dreama Skye, was released in the summer of 2010. It was published by NCM Publishing. That same year, more of her work was published in the anthology "Between the Sheets" by Delphine Publications. This book featured such authors as Tamika Newhouse, Ni'cola Mitchell, Anna Black, N'Tyse, Michael Mcgrew, Dreama Skye, and others.

Born on the east coast, Ms. True is the proud mother of one college-age son. These days, Imani can be found in Las Vegas, where she works a traditional 9 to 5 until the pen pays her bills.
