Being the mother of a behaviourally challenged child has most certainly broadened my outlook on life. I am a singer/song writer, 1st Dan black belt, and have recently started pursuing my talents as a writer, artist and jewellery designer.

My first published work, Thunderstorms and Rainbows, was picked up by Synergy Magazine in Nanaimo, B.C., and gave me the impetus to write the first book of a children's adventure series - Christopher Collin and the True Okemus - the Adventure Begins and an account of living with my son, One Step Forward Two Steps Back-Living with ADHD/ODD, a Mother's Perspective, which is also available at Amazon.com.

I maintain an information blog on Adhd/Odd, and have partnered with a fellow Hubber to expand our horizons to include recycling and home renovations.

Aside from all of this, I have been told I am a fun and interesting person to be around. I have a quirky sense of humour, and I hope you enjoy my posts on Hubpages. Happy reading, and keep your stick on the ice....
