Edward Griffor has served as Professor of Mathematics and Electrical Engineering at academic institutions accross the globe, including Tufts University in the US, Marburg University in Germany, Oslo University in Norway and Uppsala University in Sweden.

Griffor was named one of the first two Walter P. Chrysler Technical Fellows at Chrysler Group LLC in 2007. He is Adjunct Professor of Medicine in the Center of Molecular Medicine and Genetics of Wayne State University in Detroit, MI USA.
