• Most seekers think that they are growing spiritually because their philosophy is evolving, but the real truth is that philosophical evolution is completely separate from spiritual evolution.
• Have you been seeking spiritual growth for a decade or more but are uncertain about your spiritual status?
• Are you becoming disillusioned or burnt out by all of the religious dogma, New Age hype, and metaphysical fads?
• Do you accept spiritual beliefs from others, thinking that it is knowledge, and then use those beliefs until you find new ones to replace them with? If so, then your spiritual path has become the Tao of belief upgrading.
• Do you assume that because you are continuously upgrading your philosophical beliefs that you are growing spiritually?
• Because of your life’s experience you’ve grown wiser, but are you assuming that you’ve also grown more spiritual?
• Are you sure that your philosophical beliefs have helped you to evolve or could they be obstructing your real spiritual growth?
• If the endless process of replacing one spiritual belief with another is not spiritual growth, then what is?
• Before you use up what is left of your life seeking spiritual growth maybe you should first find out for sure what spiritual growth actually is.
• Like most seekers, you too could be going through—or even stuck in—one of the stages of philosophical growth that most veteran seekers have passed though.
• Since most seekers stay in the same stage for their entire lives perhaps it would be wise to learn which stage you are in and about the inherent traps in that stage.
