Author Biography

I was inspired to write books after watching the movie classic 'Lawrence of Arabia'. I thought how amazing it must be to write about your experiences and have them made into a movie. Then I thought how amazing it would be to write fiction books for people to enjoy. I was 14 years old then, and this marked the beginning of my journey to become a writer.

THE SANDMAN is a fictional thriller novel about a saboteur on a mission to destroy the nuclear reactor in Iran. It placed 1st Runner-Up for Fiction in the 2009 Military Writer's Society of America's Book Awards. I was inspired to write this story when I learned of the growing threat of war in the Middle East as Iran pursued its nuclear program.

THE SANDMAN is my first published novel and dedicated to my wife and son for their belief in me and support of pursuing my dream. I served 3 years in the US Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. I worked for Expo Design Center, a former division of The Home Depot, and currently work for Pacific Sales. I continue to write novels and plan on publishing a 2nd novel in 2010.

Mark your calendars and be sure to join us at Readers Inc Bookstore for the La Mesa Village Antique Street Fair.


On March 28, 2010 I will be displaying and discussing my novel at Readers Inc Bookstore for this annual street fair that is fun for people of all ages. Bring the kids, the neighbors, friends, anyone and everyone.

Readers Inc Bookstore has books of all genre and is located at 8219 La Mesa Blvd., La Mesa CA 91941. You can learn more about this bookstore by logging on their site at www.readersinconline.com.

The Street Fair will be from 9AM - 4PM on March 28 Sunday. Pass the word and see you there.

I will also have copies on hand plenty of time before this event, so if you would like to purchase your copy beforehand you may do so.

My toughest critic finished reading my novel 'THE SANDMAN' and told me it was a very good book. Much as I enjoy any and all compliments I have to say this one was on the special side because this critic was my wife and when it comes to me she plays no favorites and tells me like it is, which is why I know I'm getting an honest opinion.

Of course sometimes the reviews aren't always the type we want to hear, but then we can still use a constructive critique of our work to ensure our next book will be that much better. I believe I have learned the lesson some time ago that you must take the bad with the good, and when it comes to reviews there is no difference here.
