Author Biography

I was inspired to write books after watching the movie classic 'Lawrence of Arabia'. I thought how amazing it must be to write about your experiences and have them made into a movie. Then I thought how amazing it would be to write fiction books for people to enjoy. I was 14 years old then, and this marked the beginning of my journey to become a writer.

THE SANDMAN is a fictional thriller novel about a saboteur on a mission to destroy the nuclear reactor in Iran. It placed 1st Runner-Up for Fiction in the 2009 Military Writer's Society of America's Book Awards. I was inspired to write this story when I learned of the growing threat of war in the Middle East as Iran pursued its nuclear program.

THE SANDMAN is my first published novel and dedicated to my wife and son for their belief in me and support of pursuing my dream. I served 3 years in the US Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. I worked for Expo Design Center, a former division of The Home Depot, and currently work for Pacific Sales. I continue to write novels and plan on publishing a 2nd novel in 2010.

My novel is available in hard and soft cover and can be purchased in San Diego bookstores at Warwick's, Bay Books, and Mysterious Galaxy Books. You can also purchase a copy online by clicking the Buy it link below for direct access to Amazon.com, Powell's Books, Indiebound, Borders, Barnes and Noble, and many other on-line retailers.

My toughest critic finished reading my novel 'THE SANDMAN' and told me it was a very good book. Much as I enjoy any and all compliments I have to say this one was on the special side because this critic was my wife and when it comes to me she plays no favorites and tells me like it is, which is why I know I'm getting an honest opinion.

Of course sometimes the reviews aren't always the type we want to hear, but then we can still use a constructive critique of our work to ensure our next book will be that much better. I believe I have learned the lesson some time ago that you must take the bad with the good, and when it comes to reviews there is no difference here.

If you'd like to write a review of my book you can do so on my site when you register free, or on amazon.com, borders.com, barnesandnoble.com, or your favorite online retailer.

Keep on reading and I'll keep you posted on the status of my next upcoming novel.
