Claudine Dervaes has been in the travel industry since 1976. Her experiences include travel agency and tour operations, instructor of travel and tourism and author-publisher of over 14 books for travel education. In 2001 most of the copyrights were acquired by Delmar Thomson Learning (now Cengage Learning). Her company, Solitaire Publishing Inc. has been in business since 1984. Claudine continues to author and publish The U.K. to U.S.A. Dictionary (British English vs. American English) and writes a columns for several Florida newspapers entitled "Travel Talk" which is syndicated to the New York Times. She has traveled to over 53 countries and is a professional speaker - with many topics available. During the summer she works for and captains for Smoky Mountain Jet Boats LLC in Bryson City, NC.
