I so enjoyed this book. I related on so many levels. At one point I felt like you'd jumped in my life and stolen my story. I cried and cheered, got angry then happy, scared then bold, anxious then calm...so many emotions as it made me refle...ct on my own life. I kept getting wrapped up in wondering how the memoir would end. Now, I'm curious and simply want to learn how the rest of your life began. Excellent book Charesse! I am very proud of you and I thank you for opening even more doors and windows of my own healing process. I need to pen my own memoirs as there is always someone in each of our lives that needs to hear our story. I needed to hear yours!

@ Beverly - thanks, what's not completed I couldn't tell? It's always good to have me time.. I know what you mean...take care

Charesse,

I meant to write "the trailer complemented the book well, not completed." Forgive any grammatical errors. It's the end of the day, the house is quiet, hubby went to home depot, both kids asleep...me time, me time! Yes!
posted at 10/25/10 - 09:24 PM
Hi again Charesse,

I viewed the trailer and I loved it. It was sort of diabolical and completed the title of your book well.

I've been taking some time off of promoting my book because I have a 5 month old in addition to my nine year old! So, I'm trying to get back into the swing of things slowly, it's truly a balancing act. Never seems to be enough time and having a five month old leaves me a bit pooped out at the end of the day. Call me a soccer mom! That's what i am at the moment. (ha) Hey, that seems like a good title for another book!!! I love when my creative mind get working, and since you're an author you know just what I mean.

Congrats on getting your trailer up and going. I think that's a big accomplishment. I'm thinking of hiring author house agent services since I have my hands full at home. After the holidays I plan to start focusing on my book again.

Keep up the good work and maybe one day a big shot Hollywood tycoon will put our stories on the big screen!!!
