Cecilia Tan is a writer and editor in the Boston area. She is known as the founder of Circlet Press, Inc., publishers of erotic science fiction and fantasy, but also the critically acclaimed author of two collections of literary erotica, WHITE FLAMES and BLACK FEATHERS. She has edited many anthologies of erotic fiction for Alyson Books, Thunder's Mouth Press, Carroll & Graf, Ravenous Romance, Masquerade Books, and Blue Moon Books.

She has recently written several erotic romances for Ravenous Romance, including MIND GAMES, THE HOT STREAK, and MAGIC UNIVERSITY, and edited anthologies for them too, including WICKED PLEASURES, BITES OF PASSION, and YOUNG STUDS. She has published with Torquere Press, as well, with the BDSM novella ROYAL TREATMENT.

She is also known as an accomplished baseball writer, specializing in the history of the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox. She is senior writer at Gotham Baseball Magazine and the editor of the Maple Street Press Yankees Annual.

She is the recipient of the Pantheon of Leather President's Award for 2008, the NLA's Lifetime Achievement Award (2004), and has been nominated for various literary awards though never won, including being first runner up in the Best of Soft Science Fiction contest and having several books make it to the finalist list in the Independent Press Awards, Firecracker Alternative Book Awards, and Lambda Literary Awards.
