On October 17th 2009 I attended my first book signing at Barnes and Noble in St. Petersburg, Florida. The signing featured local authors in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. There were a total of five authors in attendance. I was fortunate to get to know Rudy Rudisill who published a marriage enrichment book, Robert Emery who published a novel (In The Realm of Eden), Richard and Diana Daffner who published a relationship book and Kim Costello who published a children’s book. My book entitled SQL for Microsoft Access 2nd edition represented the computer field.

I had such a wonderful time at the signing. I met lots of interesting people and reconnected with many old friends and family.

I am especially grateful to my publisher Jones and Bartlett who put me in contact with Lindsay Ruggiero the Associate Marketing Manager at Jones and Bartlett. Lindsay Ruggiero went out of her way to ensure that I was prepared for the signing.

I’d also like to thank Barnes and Noble and Ann Dosen the Community Relations Manager at Barnes and Noble for inviting me to this book signing.

I am looking forward to my next Book Signing!
