Best-selling author and blogger on Business Planning, Corporate Governance and Effective Financial Management.
After business school, Brian worked in venture capital before moving into related areas of business planning, acquisitions and disposals for large corporations, becoming Director of Business Development for international leisure and retail businesses based in the UK. Subsequently he worked with the chairman of one of these businesses to establish a retail and internet bookselling business.
Brian's first book arose from guidance notes he had written for entrepreneurs trying to raise finance for their businesses. Associates told him they deserved publication and they have been. Since then there have been five books on how to write a business plan, the latest being in its third edition, and translations into over a dozen languages.
Subsequent books have drawn on his wide experience and have included works on negotiating, effective financial management and critical financial issues.
