Bill Johnson is the CEO of Options A to Z.com where he primarily teaches online options educational classes, which have been viewed in over 130 countries. He supplements the classes with a bi-weekly podcast, Options A to Z Live!

Bill also teaches Financial Risk Management at Florida International University and Economics at the University of Phoenix.

He has published ten books on various financial topics including, options, single-stock futures, forex, and the Federal Reserve, three of which were selected as supplemental texts at Binghamton University, Wingate University, and Florida International University. The most recent is a 450-page book Options 101: From Theory to Application that reached #1 in December 2007 on Amazon.com for the finance titles.

In a prior position, he was a key speaker for a one-month option tour in Australia, Singapore, Jakarta, and Kuala Lumpur as well as several “seminar at sea” cruises and other major events. He was also invited to teach a Master Sessions class for the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and to speak at the Quantitative and Computational Finance Day (QCF) at Georgia Institute of Technology.

Prior to that, he created two online educational courses featuring options and single-stock futures. More than 300,000 students have enrolled worldwide. Bill was also a regular host for the 21st Century Alert Radio Show on WNN 1470AM.

Bill also worked on active trader option teams at Charles Schwab for nearly six years and wrote their training manuals and taught corresponding weeklong courses in Economics and Option Strategies, Pricing and Hedging to advanced brokers.

He has articles published in Active Trader, Buy-Sell-Hold, SFO, Investor’s Observer, and Smart Money magazines and has been quoted in Barron’s.

Bill received a Master's Degree in Economics in 1996 and an MBA in Finance in 1999 both from the University of Central Florida.
