Bernadette Watkins lives in Alabama. She is the author of "Sweet Destiny"! Currently her book can be found online at Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, Borders and more. Sweet Destiny is a fairytale love story which includes poetry. Sweet Destiny is filled with inspiration and valuable information for everyone. Bernadette has served active duty in the U.S. army branch as a supply clerk for the military police stationed in Fort Polk, Louisana. Also, Bernadette is the host of an internet radio show on Blog Talk Radio. There she interviews authors, poets, musicians, singers, entreprenuers and more. Bernadette's inspiration comes from God. She is influenced by music and poetry. Her favorite artists include Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Keyshia Cole, Jill Scott, and India Arie. Music soothes the soul & poetry excites the mind. Maya Angelou is her favorite poet.

Bernadette's favorite writers are Maya Angelou, Sandra Brown, Dean Koontz, Steven King, Janet Evanovich, Terry McMillan,Eric Jerome Dickey, and many more.
Current Projects:
Bernadette is currently working on publishing a book of poetry.
Interests:
Bernadette's interest include writing, singing, dancing and just having fun with friends and family. She enjoys the beauty of nature and all it has to offer.
Family:
Bernadette has four children, two boys & two girls. (Derek, Tierra, Kevin, Zara).They are honor roll students enrolled in various academic programs, clubs, & sports. Bernadette's children love to read and have maintained the top accelerated readers in the school system. Tierra has won the County Spelling Bee each year to represent her school in the state competition. Kevin is an honor student who loves to read. Derek loves to play football and basketball (starting line up) each year. Zara (Baby)
