Barbara Howell is the owner of Southern Ladies Showcases. A business that specializes in hand-crafted custom display cases to fit every collection and hobby.

Originally birthed in Tennessee, the business also has a location in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Semi-retired from the production side of things now, Barbara focuses on telling her triumphant story of success that overcame all odds.

Barbara's entire life has been defined by diversity. She was wife, mother, grandmother, farmer, cosmetologist, before finally becoming a carpenter.

Rising to the top of a man's profession, Barbara didn't allow handicaps, personal tragedy or financial devastation to stop her. She persevered and today her display cases are in homes and businesses around the world.
Barbara continues to do light travel and splits her time working in her work shop in her hometown of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and her shop in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Howell is a member of Oklahoma Writer's Federation, Inc; The Tulsa Night Writers, RHEMA Writer's Bloc and Fellowship of Christian Writers.
