The Puja is almost come to Bangla and Kolkata. Four days will pass in absolute merriment. Crowds will gather at puja pandals, guzzle at every wayside eateries and buy whatever their eyes fall on.It is the mood of sustained holiday, when the only thing to do is watch various idols and compre which of them are most beautiful.Different organizations appoint panels of judges to award prizes to puja committees for various excellences. The award-winning images are specially flocked to by people not only of the city, but also of villages.Paradoxically the life force boils busiest during these 4 days when life is paralysed:vehicles do not move hospitals also are virtually closed because doctors are all on leave.
