BUYING DIRECT FROM THE AUTHOR:
If you buy directly from me, I will provide personally signed copies (to whomever you wish, signed by both the author and the illustrator).
As of now (January 14, 2010), the cost for a direct-buy signed book would be $17.00 each plus postage. Postage cost (Priority) for up to 4 books is $4.90. You can send a check or money order (I’m not set up for credit cards) to:

Just had a successful booksigning last weekend, and we (the illustrator and I) are looking forward to several more. Ones that are confirmed:
Nov. 7, 10 am - 4 pm, Elk Creek Craft Fair, Grange Hall, Elk Creek, CA
November 28, 10:30 am - 2 pm, Denny's Restaurant, 343 N. Humboldt, Willows, CA
December 5, 2-5 pm, Willows Library, 201 N Lassen, Willows, CA
Several more booksignings are in the process of being confirmed in Locations from Red Bluff to Sacramento, CA.

For those of you who have been asking--the book will be released by September 25, and the following book should be done within a few months, depending on when the illustrator is able to finish all the pictures!

Charlotte--the age group is probably between 3 and 8 or 9--it depends a lot on the particular child, of course!
