Author Biography

Dear Readers: I do hope you are enjoying your summer and your summer reading. As of lately, I have been busy with my own writing as well as researching; to begin work on a new novel soon. Also I am enjoying the summer immensely, so that while working on one of my documents; I happen to do a little doodling on my Microsoft paint and lo and behold, I now have a drawing of "bluebonnets." While my artistic brain was still working, I then wrote a poem in regards to my favorite time of the year. Here I will post it, and reader I do hope you enjoy readiing it; plus continue to enjoy the long, hot summer months by staying cool, and enjoying one of your favorite novels.

SUMMERTIME by (c) Amina Harrison

Just from the scent of
freshly cut grass,
Even as I walk pass the flowers,
the birds and bees that
are enjoying too the warm
summer breezes.
Then soon, I will see
children enjoying ice cold,
ice cream treats, so I can also
enjoy my own cold icy, sweets.
Sandals, beach balls, couples walking
along bare feet while holding hands,
now I know
Summertime is here, and it is one
of my favorite seasons of the year.
HAPPY SUMMER--Amina Harrison
