Adhir Ghatak, author and Journalist, a noted travelogue writer, was born in India. After having Master degree from the Calcutta University, he studied in London University and started his career as a teacher in London. Aptitude for writing and love for literature changed his journey of life. Leaving behind teaching job with an assured income, he became a Freelance Journalist contributing features for various dailies, magazines published from India and abroad. He spent early part of his life in the United Kingdom and was attached with the B. B. C. Overseas service in London for a decade.
His recent publications are two novels: JOURNEY NEVER ENDS and BEFORE AND AFTER.
Mr. Ghatak is a Life Member of P. E. N. India, now lives in Calcutta and working on another novel.
